Fruits 'n Brutes

Fruits 'n Brutes is a turn based strategy RPG game where you control a ragtag team of four fruits that have assembled together to defeat the starving King Snail and his army of evil mushrooms. 

Play on browser by pressing run game above, or play the downloadable Windows version by following the installation instructions below.

Each turn, the player takes an action. After performing an action, the party order is rotated. After rotating, enemies will perform their action. Once all enemies are defeated, you can select two party members to have a dialogue. Selecting party members will strengthen their bond, increasing their stats when next to each other in the party lineup. During the dialogue, selecting the best dialogue option will strengthen their bond even further.

Control with mouse and keyboard:
Perform actions by selecting buttons with LMB or using respective hotkeys.
Move with WASD or select Move Button with mouse and select the adjacent tile you want to move to.
Perform each character unique action with SHIFT or select the respective Button.
Pause with ESC or =. 
Progress Dialogue with ENTER or LMB.
Action Hotkeys:
WASD = Move
WASD into ally next in line = Swap
WASD into enemy = Attack
SHIFT = Command
SHIFT + select enemy with LMB = Stun
SHIFT + select ally with LMB = Heal
SHIFT + select any tile with LMB = Place Bomb
R = Detonate all placed bombs

The logo, fruit sprites, mushroom sprites, and King Snail sprite were drawn by Chloe Parker and printed with a letterpress! And the voices of each character were voiced and synthesized by William Parker!
